This is my final project for colour study. We are given many themes which are haute couture, vintage, sporty, retro, and punky. I choose retro because as my theme. I choose this theme because it is interesting and elegance.
I use the pink colour for the shirt because pink represented a delicate colour that means sweet, nice, playful, cute, romantic, charming, feminine, and tederness. The colour pink is the colour of universal love of oneself and of others.
For the skirt, I choose black and white colour. This is because it can give us the retro feeling. As we know black represented associated with power, elegance, formality and mystery. While, white represented associated with light, goodness, innocence, purity, and virginity. It is considered to be the colour of perfection. White means safety, purity, and cleanliness.
On my skirt, there are a lot of polka dots. As we know, some of the design at the retro time is polka dots.
In a nutshell, this is my design for my final project for colour study. My theme is retro.
